TomTom has named Nick Saisanas to the position of ANZ marketing communications manager.

Saisanas will manage TomTom’s communication and channel marketing strategies across Australia and New Zealand. Under Saisanas’s expertise and guidance, TomTom will be expanding into new communication formats that best suit the local navigation consumer, according to a press release.

“Nick’s expertise in the portable navigation device market will be invaluable as TomTom enters into a new era of innovation,” said Andrew Cooper, managing director, TomTom Australia and New Zealand. “We are thrilled to have Nick on the local team in Australia and are excited to see where he will take the brand.”

Saisanas first joined the TomTom crew in Amsterdam in 2007 as an international brand manager. Working from head office, his role involved organising global product launches, as well as messaging frameworks and ATL campaigns in more than 30 markets around the world.

“It is a privilege to work for such an iconic brand like TomTom which has strong brand integrity and dominant cross platform offerings,” said Saisanas. “TomTom is a great company to work for and I’m excited to be helping consumers learn more about GPS and the TomTom brand.”

Saisanas has experience in global and domestic brand management, advertising and communications, and has worked for Campbell Arnott’s and RailCorp.
