Nintendo has unveiled a TV ad to promote the new Black Wii console.
Airing yesterday in metro and regional markets across free-to-air and
pay TV channels, the ad was created by Leo Burnett Sydney with media
being handled by Carat, according to information on Mumbrella.
"In
support of the campaign it has also launched a black-themed wrap around
in MX newspapers, and featured on the Ninemsn homepage with the visual
of black goo dripping down computer screens," the story noted.
Meanwhile,
Nintendo has named Mark Communications to support the launch of the
Black Wii and the Nintendo DSi XL. Both PR campaigns will be run across
media in Australia and New Zealand.
The Black Wii has already launched in the US, Europe and Japan.
