New marketing director at Ingram Micro

Ingram Micro Australia has hired Grant Cleary to join the team in the newly created role of marketing director.

According to a story from CRN today, Ingram Micro now has a separate marketing department, where previously the marketing team reported to sales executives. Cleary will manage a team of 11 and report to Australian managing director Jay Miley.

Prior to his new role, Cleary was director of marketing of the Personal Systems Group at HP for almost four years.
